Web developer & mountain biker. I build websites by hand, and I race bikes up hills for fun.
01 / What I do
Every site I make starts as an empty file. No templates, no drag-and-drop builder, no theme I bought and reskinned. I write the HTML, the CSS, and whatever JavaScript the thing actually needs, then I make it load fast and rank well.
The results usually come out a little weird. That part's on purpose.
Most of my clients are local businesses that want one really good website, not a monthly subscription to somebody else's software. I build it, I host it, and I keep it running.
02 / Selected work
◆ = built for a Technology Student Association (TSA) competition
Race intelligence for mountain bike and gravel events. It reads a course and tells you where the race is actually won.
A 24-question hiring flow serving 10 franchise locations. One application, routed to the right restaurant.
A baking site for finding a recipe without scrolling past someone's life story to get there.
A community board for local events. Pin what's happening, see what's near you.
A brand and site for a makerspace studio. Workshop grit, clubhouse warmth.
A site for a science show. Deep-space blues, a spinning atom, the whole set.
03 / Off the clock
I race cross-country mountain bikes in the Wasatch Range. Last season I took 4th at the Utah State Championship, which felt a lot better than 5th.
Coding and racing turn out to be the same job. Both are mostly about doing the boring parts well and not getting off the bike on the steep bit.
04 / Say hello
Email me. If you just want to talk bikes, that works too.
